Wallets

The wallets section covers both the Import of Existing Wallets as well as Additional Wallet Generation.

Import Existing Wallet

Wallet Import section

WaveAIO has the functionality to import existing wallets as well as creating new ones.

The user will first need to import an existing wallet by inputting their Private Key in order to import the existing wallet that will be used for creating additional wallets

To obtain your private key: Open MetaMask and click the 3 vertical dots next to your Account Name:

Click "Account Details"

Then click "Export Private Key"

After inputting your MetaMask Password, you will be able to copy your Private Key to use for Importing your wallet into WaveAIO.

Create a New Wallet

Once the user has imported a new wallet, they are able to create additional wallets within the application interface instantly. The software will automatically output both the wallet address as well as the backup seed phrase.

It is highly recommended for the user to save the backup seed phrase of any wallet that they have generated. If for some reason the wallet cannot be accessed through the application interface then we have no way of recovering the wallet.

Private Key Export

Private Key Export Function

Each wallet has its private key available in the Wallets section. By clicking the golden key, the user will be prompted to re-enter their password for opening WaveAIO. After successfully entering the password, the private key will be available for the user to copy.

The user will be able to export several of the private keys within a small time-frame without needing to input the password for each one.

Mass Wallet Options

When a wallet is selected, then the options to delete, refresh and export are shown.

Refresh All

If a specific wallet is sent funds while WaveAIO is open the user may go to the Wallets section and refresh the balance. *It is recommended to re-start WaveAIO if a wallet that is loaded in Wave sends a transaction via MetaMask or outside of WaveAIO.

Export All

Export Multiple Wallets

Users may mass export all or some of their wallets into a CSV file for their own personal use. When this option is selected, the users will be prompted for their WaveAIO password and the software will export the file onto their desktop.

Password Encryption

All wallets generated and stored within WaveAIO are saved within a password encrypted file on the user's local storage. WaveAIO utilizes SHA-256 encryption for high security against malicious attacks. However, we provide no guarantee on asset safety. Read more on SHA-256 here.
